A monthly series highlighting exciting Seed and Series A companies that have announced or raised their latest funding round in the last month and why I believe those ventures are worth to watch in the future.

To not miss any update in the future, subscribe to our newsletter here.

First, I start with some highlights from the world of venture capital and corporate venture building / startup activities:

  • The new pre-seed vehicle “Flash Ventures” from Rocket Internet is now live with their first website which also reveals their first investments: https://www.fl4sh.vc/

  • The Signal Iduna Group extends their digital transformation efforts. In the past they already connected indirectly with startups through Finleap. Now they launched their own “Startup Client” program to offer fitting startups to test their innovative solutions within the Signal Iduna Group and potentially establish a long-term partnership: https://signalsstartupclient.com/

And here are the top early-stage investments from the last month:

The company charges just 0.1% to process payments – a fraction of the 1-4% charge typically seen across the market. Its software also better protects consumers and businesses by transferring money without sharing customer bank details, reducing fraud by 96%.
